Aesop Flinders Lane Cardboard Wall

When you enter Aesop Flinders Lane, you are struck by the raw beauty of a curved wall, made surpingsly from… 1550 sheets of industrial cardboard sheets. Originally built in 2007 as a temporary solution, the cardboard wall concept has evolved since the store’s opening, and remains a signature design feature. Our client’s brief was to “reflect the constant cycles of regeneration found in both nature and our urban environments”. The level of craft applied by the EMAC Team at Aesop in Flinders Lane, using a non-traditional material, set a new benchmark for creativity and storytelling.
